I was somewhat disappointed with this. I wore it for two entire days, and both days it somehow reset itself at some point. I found myself looking at it constantly to kind of "check on it". On the second day I even wrote down the number every so often, and sure enough it reset, but at least I had a clue where I was at that point. So I was fairly disappointed in that respect. Now this is the first pedometer I have ever used, so I can't compare to others.. like if this is a common occurrence at all?

I purchased this pedometer several months ago and it worked for a few days then quit. I changed the battery. It still did not work consistently - often the screen would go completely blank, the reset button did not work and the only way to have any numerics come up was to reinstall the battery. Finally I returned it to the manufacturer and they sent a replacement. Same problems. Yesterday it worked for an hour then quit - blank screen. Today I reinstalled the battery and got screens of non-numeric (or partial numeric) characters that were scrolling at high speed.

I've asked for a refund.

Great pedometer with improvement changing from the plastic to metal belt clip. When I asked the company CEI (the manufacturer) if they would replace my older one with the plastic clip that broke, they never responded. If you receive one with a plastic clip I would suggest you keep all your warranty material - you may need it.
