Complete hybrid NiMH battery solution,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Ultralast UL4AAHYB110/220 HYBRIO Multi-Voltage Wall NiMH/NiCd Battery Charger Kit (Electronics)
Hybrid NiMH (nickel metal hydride) batteries hold most of their charge for months, while standard NiMH batteries lose around 5% - 10% a week. But generally both hybrid and standard NiMH are a better choice than rechargeable NiCads for high-demand uses like flashes and cameras.
If you want to NiMH batteries into a camera or flash and put it on the shelf for a while, the hybrid NiMH batteries are a better bet than the standard ones because the batteries will not drain while the unit is sitting in your camera bag or on the shelf. This package includes four AA hybrid NiMH batteries and a charger, and it's reasonably priced with a good charger. You can also buy packages of hybrid batteries without the charger -- a more economical deal if you already have a charger that takes AA NiMH's --either hybrid or standard. The brand that appeared first in the US is Hybrio, which is still available. Amazon carries Hybrio and other brands of hybrid NiMH batteries as well, and I've found them to be equally reliable and able to retain a charge.

These rechargeable batteries are by far the best out there for the price. They keep their charge even when not in use. And they really do work right out of the package! And it's great knowing that I am helping the environment as well...
