This review is from: Ultras (Paperback)
The murder of British undercover operative Captain Robert Nairac at the hands of the Irish Republican Army has left his memory vulnerable to rumor, innuendo, and the wildest of speculation. Eoin McNamee's novel weaves together the disparate threads of the conspiracies that shroud Nairac's life into a cohesive tale. His work full of spies, terrorists, rogue operatives, and assassinations in the wee hours, is wonderfully rich in atmosphere. It is recommended reading for those interested in the Troubles or the doomed Captain Nairac.
