We have medium-sized Cocker Spaniels and this did not work at all with them. I could not tell a bit of difference and the barking continued as usual.

When I mounted it on my dog each time he shakes his head, the unit turned off. This is a piece of junk made from China. I would not recommend it to my friends.

This product is great for which it was created, but the batteries that it takes only last for about 2 weeks. It takes 2 "high drain" batteries and I haven't been able to find a replacement battery that is the same size that will last longer. The product is good, but just wish it would last longer when the batteries cost $5.00 each and it requires 2 batteries.

This only worked for 2 days, that's right, 2 days. I contacted the manufacturer who promised a new collar. That was 3 weeks ago, still waiting.

If you have a barking problem, I recommend the Citronella collar. They work, unlike this piece of crap.

The collar seemed to work but went thru batteries way to fast and seemed to defeat the purpose unless you keep a supply of the batteries on hand.

I purchased this collar for my Min Pin who loves the water but also loves to bark when she plays in it -- my pool and the lake. When I received it I was skeptical because it did not look or seem water proof in any way. 2 openings where covered with tiny PAPER stickers! The battery cover has no seal or o-ring on it. Both batteries are installed one on top of the other with the battery cover holding them both in. At first the collar worked great! It is light weight and the sonic sound kept my dog from barking while she enjoyed her water play. I kept checking the unit and after about 30 minutes it had stopped working. When we finally got out of the pool about 2 hours later -- my Min Pin mostly played and splashed at the top step of the pool and only swam 2 times -- I noticed a rust colored film all over the back of the unit. When I opened the battery cover both brand new batteries were totally rusted!! and the metal contact strip was totally rusted! This is a piece of junk that is not properly sealed for use around water. Buyer beware, don't waste your money! This collar is NOT WATERPROOF and is NOT EVEN WATER RESISTANT!!

This collar did not help my dog at all. It did not even bother her to hear the noise she just continued barking. One of my friends on the other hand she has two dogs and they respond well to these types of collars. I just think my dog loves to bark and nothing will phase her when she starts. Just remember before you buy this product all dogs are different. I really got my hopes up when I purchased this product and I was very disappointed. I think my dog is going to require much more training.

I used one of these collars before and they truely are awsome,My dog is medium size with a large BARK, I live in a tight area, and hate when dogs are barking, I tried the shocking collar and it was awful, Maggie wears this and after 3 times with it turned on we dont even have to really use it. It really does the job especially with the smaller dogs.

The plastic is very cheep. The backing side where the battery goes (the grooves wore our really fast), and the backing kept coming off. The collar didn't fit properly. Every time my dog shook it's head the ultrasound went off. The product has a very cheep elastic collar. I didn't get to use it more than two days. Don't buy it!!!

I put this on my dog; it did absolutely NOTHING to deter her barking. I don't even know how it's supposed to work; the instructions do not say. Not sure if the little beep is supposed to keep the dog from barking or if it's maybe supposed to vibrate or something (it doesn't vibrate) and the soft, barely audible beep, cannot be heard over the barking. Worthless!
