One white and orange young cat was always spraying and pooing near our front doors. We first tried to order "Cat Stop," but it is not available anyware and not in stock at the manufacturer. So, I ordered this instead.
The cat heard the ultrasonic sound, because it looked when I pressed the button. But after the first time, the cat just ignored the sound. Apparently it is not loud enough to be irritating.
I ended up just getting the cat to follow the red laser spot out of the yard. So, I would say that this unit does NOT work on cats.

Bought this for dogs that bark all the time and doo-doo in my yard. Husband pointed it at neighbor dog and neighbor called the law. Don't know if it works. Afraid to use it now.

This is one product I am not sure is effective and worth the $. Not to mention that the laser can be a hazard to the eye especially with kids around and no way to prevent them from pointing it on them self. I would give -5 stars if I can.....do not waste your money on this.
