This authoritative work serves as a textbook and atlas of cellular pathology at the ultrastructural level. There is no other book from which one may learn in a systemic fashion about the numerous changes that occur in cellular organelles and inclusions as a result of disease or experimental procedures. The Fourth Edition includes a number of new ultrastructural changes and lesions such as, secretory granules in bronchio-alveolar carcinoma, fibrohistiocytes, crinophagy in normal and neoplastic cells, and interdigitations and infoldings of the cell membrane.

This is the fourth edition of a one-of-a-kind textbook on the morphology of human and nonhuman cells. It is complete in all aspects and provides informative insight into correlations with form and function of the various cellular organelles. The illustrations are numerous and of extremely high quality.
