I haven't put this Bible into use yet. My current Bible still has another year (or less) of use before I need to retire it. This Bible is thinner than the others I own . . . a good thing. However, if you are looking for a LARGE print, this is NOT the one for you (I really wanted a larger font). I don't know what the size of the font is in this Bible, but it seems to be the same as most other Bibles of this size. It is certainly readable (I have to wear reading glasses with virtually everything I read, anyway). Overall, I am happy with the purchase. I would buy it again.

For those of us who need a larger print Bible this is the one to get. It is not too big or fat that you can't easily carry it around. I'd say it is probably thinner than most hymn books and about the same size.
Nice leather binding, too.
