I have followed the career of Uma Thurman for many years because the events of her personal life seem to parallel those of my wonderful 3rd wife. This book has neatly presented the story in a succinct meaningful way. Although there are several areas that might have been explained in more detail, the important facts are revealed. The biography ends before any of the current events that reveal her life as she ages more (thank goodness for cosmetics) and the dubious success of some of her current efforts. This book is a valuable reference in which one can gather a very good idea of the struggle that Uma has had in her personal life and her career. There is no real indication that might warn of her propensity now to control so much of her own existence on the movie set. I do hope that there will be a following biography to more fully explore the life of this talented actress as time goes by.
