Contacts with the company were fruitless.

It will shoot as fast as you can pull the triger, it has a looong triger pull but most bb Co2's do.
Sanddogg
It shoots very far with great presicion and power.

The HK (Heckler and Koch) MP5K PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) is a variant of the MP5K introduced in 1991. It is equipped with a side-folding butt stock, a threaded three-lug barrel for attaching suppressors, and is typically fitted with the ambidextrous MP5N trigger group. The side-folding butt stock can be fitted onto any MP5K with no modification to the weapon itself. The PDW has seen only limited usage - mostly with Special Ops groups, aircraft crews, and tank crews. It is very popular with U.S. Special Operations forces who see it as a compromise between a pistol and a full-sized submachine gun.

The HK MP5K PDW by Umarex is a product of excellence. I was very impressed with the high quality and pleasing aesthetics of this beautiful crafted and realistic semi-auto BB gun. The gun itself is surprisingly heavy for its size. Very solidly built with no creaks or shimmies. To insert the 12-gram CO2 cartridge you first need to remove the two rear body pins. I did this by pushing the retaining loops into each pin and pushing it through the other side. After you take the pins out, remove the rear stock and insert the CO2. Replace the rear plate on the gun, reinsert the pins, and tighten the CO2 cartridge tab to hear the gun pressurize. The stock folds by lifting the front upwards at the hinge and allowing it to fold to the right and I love how it locks firmly in place in the extended position.

The selector switch on this gun moves smoothly between its settings with a solid click at each stop. Click it from Safe to Fire and let out a few shots. I noticed that this gun recoils like the real firearm and has a mildly firm trigger pull that isn't overly heavy or light, it is just right. Trigger response is good and shots were right on target from the start.

very well built. feels very durable and solid unlike most air guns. i fired off about 160 rounds within the first 20 minutes i had it. i have big clumsly fingers so engaging the co2 screw took a little getting used to but i got it engaged with minimal gas loss. i would definately recommend this airgun!

This MP5 is pretty damn sweet. IOts got a good feel to it the clips change easy and are fairly quick to reload if you lock the spring and open the catch. The fold out stock is removable as is the forward grip. It has pretty good accuracy and goes through a 1/4" wine bottle so watch out. I just wish it was all metal construction, thats the only downfall.

I had so much unexpected fun with my Crosman C31 CO2-powered BB gun that I thought I would try this one out. I'm just a can plinker/target shooter, and I don't expect tremendous accuracy. I'm just having some fun.

This gun looks great, feels solid, and I added a few things to make it a Real Bad Boy!

I added (all sold on Amazon):

- a Weaver rail on top (modified by taking 1/8" off of the fixed feet) ["Scope Rail Mount for MP5 MK5 M5 style guns NCStar"]

- a UTG/Leapers 1X30 red/green dot scope on that rail ["Leapers Golden Image 30mm Red/Green Dot Sight, Integral Weaver Mount (SCP-RD40RGW)"]

- another rail mount below the barrel - I used flat black electrical tape to stabilize the plastic overlay on the barrel which is somewhat loose. I also needed to buy four hex screws that were 1/4" longer. ["Weaver Rail Barrel Mount for Laser Sight, Flashlight, and Bipod"]

- a laser sight on that mount ["NcStar Red Laser Sight with Weaver Mount/Black (APRLS)"]

I also purchased this bag/case ["UTG Gun Case, Dual Storage, Adjustable Shoulder Strap"] which is a perfect fit with the magazine removed.

I have two minor complaints:

1) It would be nice to have an end cap to replace the folding stock. These are available in the U.K. but not in America.

2) I really wish I could get an extra magazine since one CO2 cartridge begins to lose power by the end of the second magazine. These are also not available in America (and like many other folks, I've tried without success to find one).

However, you can load the magazine pretty quickly with this trick: put your BBs in a Tupperware-like container. I use a 3"X5" plastic container that originally had lunchmeat. Just dribble the BBs in, and let extra ones fall back into the container. I can load the magazine in about 20 seconds.

HTH, and have fun!

-TJ

With ever-growing lack of access to nearby "outback" areas for shooting firearms (owing to the former having been chewed up for decades to come by ATVs and thereby closed), this WEAPON (and it is a weapon) provides value for maintaining competency. Surprisingly, given practice with trigger control, it has the capacity--with highest quality BBs--to almost be a "tack driver" at close ranges (under 7 metres). Also the fact that it operates with a single 12g CO2 cartridge is a plus and good velocity maintains up to about 60 shots. The sights are its weakest feature, but the gun is readily tricked out with a red dot unit mounted on a claw-type multirail (neither of which are, of course, included). The piece does not have a red muzzle and it is recommended to put a strip of red tape on it when venturing off one's property. For what should be obvious reasons. And whether one has a Class 3 License or not. Except under close scrutiny, it visually presents as an automatic weapon.
