After getting the Umbo earbud, my Jawbone Icon headset fits even better in my ear and the sound quality is great! Simple and easy to install. I'm very happy with this product.

So, I've tried out 4 or 5 different replacement earbuds for my jawbone prime, as well as for other headset devices.

While I have found others that may have been more comfortable, I find this earbud is the best overall.

If you use a bluetooth headset with an earhook, I highly recommend this. If you don't have or use an earhook, don't even bother, as this earbud will NOT hold the BT headset in your ear.

Jabra's hold them in the ear very well, and are VERY comfortable, but don't work well with Jawbones, as they hold the headset away from the face (defeating the idea behind Jawbone's).

Acoustibud's hold them in the ear all right, but not great. They are about the same comfortability as the Jabra's, and position the Jawbone better than the Jabra's against the face. Acoustibuds, however, do not stay attached to the device, and are prone to being lost.

Umbra's aren't uncomfortable at all, but aren't really comfortable either. Its more like you won't notice it for them most part, but don't expect them to hold your bluetooth headset in place without an earhook. With an earhook, it allows it to rest against the face, but doesn't hold it there very tightly.

The Umbra ear bud has been my choice overall for my Jawbone Prime so far. If I had a different brand headset, I would probably go with the Jabra, as it wouldn't matter if it held the bluetooth against my face.

I bought this in the hopes for a more comfortable Fit.
I could not get my Jawbone Era to fit and stay in my ear no matter what.
I used the ear clip and various other ways to try and make it stay.
While a good idea, the fit in my ear with the Jawbone Era did not work.
and therefore it makes it 100% useless. It may work for others but in my ear
there is no way to make it work. The end result is its a 50/50 chance it you
can get it to fit and stay in your ear its a great product, if you can not,
you wasted your money. Notice I am not giving a poor review it a buyer be
VERY careful review...

I ordered the Umbo Earbud as it's description read quite promisingly. So I placed an order expecting it to improve the fit and level of comfort of my Motorola H390 bluetooth device. First, I was surprised that there was only unit, unlike to illustration photo showing a variety of buds. But the real disappointment was the terrible fit. It was just too thick for my ear. So, in my case, it ended up being it was a waste of money.

I bought it because of the high reviews, but when I got it, and put it into my ear it would still push my bluetooth away. This is for someone who has big ear canals!

Fits great, even without the earhook. The OEM earpieces hurt after an hour of wear, and forget about all day. This one, I often forget it's in my ear. I went to bed the other night, laid my head on the pillow and relized the bluetooth was still in my ear. I can set my jawbone prime to a lower volume and hear everything clearly. Good stuff

Wow!!! Wish I had located this little gem earlier. I have small ear canals and even the smallest earbuds hurt my ears. I purchased this specifically for a Motorola H790 bluetooth headset, but plan to add two more for my MP3 in the very near future. Although a tat pricey, it is well worth the purchase price because the pain and "noise bleed" (you know, getting all that outside noise when you're trying to hear)ceases to exist! Besides all of that, my grandkids think it is strange-looking but very neat and they're adding one to their "birthday wish list!" Great item and well worth your consideration.

This must be made for someone with the ear of a giant---it did not fit my ear and was not comfy at all. I tried to get used to it for a couple of days but it just made my ear ache. I don't use it anymore.

Lots of positive reviews led me to order this Umbo Earbud - Best Fitting Ergonomic Earbud for Bluetooth and Other Wireless Headsets.. I guess i expected a couple different sizes to accommodate different ears. What I got was a single size, and it does not work. It fits the bluetooth ok, but it does not stay in my ear. It falls out. I used it on a Jawbone ERA, which is a rather heavy device, perhaps it wasn't designed for that weight. Or perhaps I got a bad one, whatever, it rates a fail in my estimation.

I bought this earbud believing the product copy - really a mistake. The problems I encountered with the product is that while it might "improve the fit of your bluetooth headseat" for someone with tiny ear canals, it was a horrible step down from the fit provided with standard Jawbone ERA earpieces. I tried the Umbo earbud on my eight-year old, and even with him, the earpiece rattled around and wouldn't stay in. Perhaps he's geneticall inherited my large ear canals? Maybe, but still, it's supposed to be an improvement and it wasn't.
