We were looking for a modern mailbox and this one got our attention. Don't get me wrong, it is beautiful and I love the way it looks but a month after we mounted the mailbox the top part (lid) starter rusting. I am upset because this is supposed to be an outdoor item (can a mailbox be indoor? duh) and for the price I was not expecting to rust so quickly.

stunning mailbox, but no where near as sturdy as the picture suggests. You can see small dents where the pieces were spot welded together

I bought this mailbox off of Amazon about a month ago and ignored the one review on this mailbox rusting. We have an overhang so the mailbox is protected but I live in FL where it rains a lot and is very humid. Unfortunately, today was the first day I came home and noticed RUST on the front of our new Umbra mailbox. VERY disappointed because it is so stylish and modern, but who cares when it becomes a rusty mess. Don't say you weren't warned!
