I have been keeping my jewelry in a Samsonite travel case for years now and I could never find a jewelry box that wasn't cheesy-looking, so when I saw this I thought it would be a great way to keep all my necklaces from getting tangled up. Plus, it is a beautiful design and I like the tray at the bottom for my rings.

It's such a great idea: However!
- It's not long enough. Yes, I read the dimensions and no, I didn't bother measuring my necklaces. But they are mostly of the long kind (an inch or two past my collarbone) and so they hit the bottom tray, which then interferes with the rings I've placed there. I needed another 1.5-2 inches in height for this to really be perfect.
-It's a little flimsy, so don't pull too hard at the arms or pick it up by the arms when you have all your necklaces hanging on it.
- It would be great if it were on a "lazy susan" base so that I could turn it without picking it up to see the necklaces that are facing the back.
-I'd prefer the hooks to somehow point out instead of curl in, because it would be a little easier when hanging my necklaces. But then maybe the aesthetic charm would be ruined...

Anyway, all that being said, it's still the best thing I could find after researching a number of similar items and it looks very nice on my dresser and maybe I just have too many long necklaces, so I am happy with it for what it is. But I would have paid more for the extras listed above - so manufacturers take note!

Even though the box this item was shipped in arrived a bit damaged, the item was well packed with bubble wrap. It looks lovely on my dresser and holds 12 (or more) necklaces and other pieces of jewelry, since you can put more than one piece on any one arm. The tree is well made and you can even put your favorite rings at the base of this tree. I love it so much, I may order another one.

A beautiful way to display all of my jewelry as opposed to hiding it in a box where I forget about it!

This jewelry stand is MUCH nicer than the others I saw! I bought it as a gift and am thinking of getting myself one!!!

The Umbra chrome jewelry tree is perfect for my teenage daughter. It's a very cute addition to her room, and holds several of her necklaces perfectly. It also has a base to hold earrings, rings, etc. Shipping was quick and it arrived in perfect condition.

This jewelry tree has rescued my necklaces from a tangled mess in the drawer to an attractive and accessible display on top of my dresser. Now I actually can wear them because i am not faced with untangling them. Longer necklaces can be doubled and looped from the higher branches.

it didn't get 5 stars because there is really nothing amazing about it... very plain but the person it went loved it and it did arrive on time.. very flimbsy packing

This jewelry tree is very pretty, but most necklaces are longer than the branches. The top branches work great and the middle ones work for some of my necklaces. It would be better if it was a little taller or had more top branches.

I'm very happy with this, but like everyone has said, it's quite short. To give you an idea, I'm using the shortest three loops to hold my bracelets, and they're almost touching the base of the tree. I love short, tight necklaces and bracelets, but if you're a fan of long/dangling jewelry, I suggest looking elsewhere!

I received this as a present, and really enjoy it. I ran to the bedroom right away to fill it up. It handles most of my necklaces, there are a few which are just too long to fit.
The stand arrived undamaged, and it has really shortened my time in the morning spent picking out and untangeling a necklace.
I have a few bracelets hanging from the lowest branches.
