This was a great purchase. The rod had a really nice sheen to it and is made of study stuff. It looks great without standing out.

Something to note: it comes with only three brackets. We have three fairly heavy duty drapes on it and it has held up really well. If, however, you are planning hanging some very heavy (i.e. velvet) drapes and would expand it to its full 120 inches then this is not the rod for you.

I bought this to go with some white sheer panels in my bedroom. I love the pewter color and the tasteful understated detailing. Blends in well which is what I wanted.

This is a perfectly fine drapery rod, but that makes no difference when it arrives snapped in two. Amazon needs to do some serious revamping of their packaging. This was packaged in the lightweight store display box, which was squashed in a single piece of corrugated board which wrapped around it like a taco and was held in place with very weak adhesive. In addition, the corrugation did not run lengthwise, which would have given some protection against bending and breakage, but sideways, which is useless.

The package had been torn to bits, the broken pieces stuffed back in, and all was clumsily taped up again by the time I received it. It was the most incompetent job of packaging I have seen in a long time. If you want this rod, go to the store and buy it there. My practice of "If I can find it on Amazon, I'll just order it there" has been seriously challenged by this last transaction. I needed this in time for a move, and now it's out of stock. Fooey.
