It has not been exposed to any water, living room is not humid at all (leather furniture is perfect, no mold or anything).
Its really a shame, the idea and the looks are great, everyone has complemented about it, but the low quality materials and the rust (that also has damaged some pictures) is a really low point for this one.
Now I have to clean the rust and print a couple of pictures again, hopefully I can find a way to avoid it to rusting again...
Now that I'm through ranting about how huge it is, everything seems to be made very well. It came packaged nicely, as well. If you have the spare room on your desk, go for it!
Eye-Catching: At 3-ft tall and 2.5-ft in diameter, it is prominent enough and eye-catching enough to draw people's attention. This of course was perfect for what we wanted to buy it for: showing off our engagement photos. Just as an FYI, since it is in the shape of a tree, this is best used in situations where people have a 360-degree view of the pictures you've elected to display. We had it on a separate table on its own during the reception and it was very well received.
Customizable: Not in the sense that you can necessarily move the parts around, but more in the sense that the clips on the end of the wires that you use to attach the photos are pliable and can be bent to optimize the display.
Roomy: 49 clips is more than enough to display pictures of your moments. It actually worked out really well for us since we had exactly 47 pictures we wanted to put on. One plus: there is a center clip that sticks up directly from the top of the tree that is a great place to put your favorite photo. We did exactly that.
Some Shoddy Construction: This thing leans. No matter how tight you screw on the poles, no matter how much effort you put into weighting it even on each side, it will lean. it's not significant at first, but the more times you move it and change up the pictures, the worse the lean gets. I guess it can't handle being handled.Read more ›

Was not very impressed by this product; it is rather large (about 3' tall) and is kind of a pain to deal with. Read morePublished 19 months ago by K. Anderson
