Great idea, decent quality,

Pros: Really cool looking, and great since you can pull the keys off when you're in a rush instead of unhooking them. A fantastic gift that no-one else will come up with. Space saving, and only requires 2 small holes to mount.
Cons: At first I thought that a whole area was magnetic, or a list a line; but it has only three points in the whole board that have magnets, and they are not that easy to find a first. You'll get used to it though. Also, the laminated wood quality isn't great in the espresso-colored model. Hard to hook-up to the wall so it doesn't feel loose. Suggestions: 1- Barnes and Noble offers a better deal. 2- The natural-wood model is better quality than the espresso-colored one.

Innovative Product, but Poor Quality,

I've never seen anyone have a magnetic key rack, so to me this is a pretty innovative and unusual product. It's very compact (not at all bulky), saves space, and holds keys quite well - especially when you use they key rings it comes with. I found that there was a large magnetized area, and my keys attached instantly. I have a large key chain, about 5 keys and several store cards all in one bundle; the key rack held 3 bundles of this size with no problems.
In the product photo, it looks like there is some sort of compartment for letters, which is not the case. All you get is 1 curved board, screws to attach it to the wall and 3 key rings. When you mount the key rack, you can technically squeeze in a few letters behind the board, but there's no special compartment. My biggest peeve with this key rack is the sub-par quality. It's obviously not wood, but the material could have been much better. After a few days of using it, I'm already seeing the laminate peeling off the corners....

This review is from: Umbra Magnetter Wall-Mount Organizer, Espresso (Kitchen)
Very cool concept.
I've generally been happy with Umbra products, and this piece is no exception. Thanks to the Amazon reviews, I understood upfront that this would only hold three keychains and that the "mail" slot would be a little small. If you can live with those minor drawbacks, this unit will work for you. Keep in mind, that if they tried to use one continuous magnetic strip, your keychains would end up sticking to each other! Was a little challenging to install, as is usually the case with these picture-hanger style wall mounts. Fits snugly when mounted, very sturdy overall. I was a little worried that my keychains would be too bulky, but I used the included keyrings to extend my keychains so the car fobs hang a little lower, and now all three stick without any problems. For people with bigger or heavier keychains, it's not the weight that's the problem - it's the configuration. If your keychain "balls" up, it's hard for the magnetic backing to grab onto the keyring. The extension is perfect for creating a bit of extra space for the magnet to hold on. I use the mail slot to hold my money clip - works like a gem for that purpose. For $15, no one makes anything comparable in terms of function and style.
