Very solid and stable - but more copper-colored than bronze
The towel holder works extremely well. It holds the roll of towels firmly, so it's easy to rip off just one towel at a time, use of two hands is not required. It's heavy enough that it doesn't rock or tip over when being used. I would prefer a more neutral color, but don't find the coppery tone objectionable enough to return it. DO NOT tug
I was extremely disappointed in this paper towel holder! I updated my kitchen and wanted bronze accessories to match the oil rubbed bronze faucet. The top of the towel holder looks more like brass than bronze! I had ordered a new hand soap dispenser and a napkin holder in bronze. Both matched well but this looked terrible with the others. The towel holder works extremely well. It holds the roll of towels firmly, so it's easy to rip off just one towel at a time, use of two hands is not required. It's heavy enough that it doesn't rock or tip over when being used. I would prefer a more neutral color, but don't find the coppery tone objectionable enough to return it.
I like the fact that nothing has to be unscrewed from the top in order for the roll of towels to be put in place - just slide the roll right over the spindle. I also like the fact that there is no flange at the side, so you know that your roll of towels is going to fit even if you use jumbo rolls.

I bought this to coordinate with some oil rubbed bronze faucets and fixtures. The color is actually a little shiny and coppery compared to what I hoped to match. However, this item is solid and well made. Aside from the color, I would recommend it.

I love the ease of use of this paper towel holder. I love that it's quick to change a roll and that it has "grippers" on it so you can quickly pull on the paper towel and it will tear off. It's my favorite paper towel holder that I've found to date.

Does what it's supposed to do (without problem), well made, and installs in moments. I've had it for awhile and have no complaints; moreover, changing out rolls of paper towels is simply a matter of sliding them on or off the arm.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and I was looking for Bronze accessories to complement our new surroundings. This was exactly what I was looking for! In addition to the perfect color, the quality is great, and the simplicity of changing out paper towel rolls can't be beat! I also enjoy the fact that it doesn't take up a lot of counter space.
