4.0 out of 5 stars A minimalist solution in *brushed nickel*
We wanted something that would both store spare rolls and serve as a TP holder without taking up much space or looking ugly, and this fit the bill. The product description fails to specify that it's *brushed* nickel (also called satin nickel I think). We were hoping for polished nickel but couldn't tell from either the description or the photo.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay stand.
I have children and constantly am finding the roll of toilet paper on the floor. The peg that holds the extra rolls also has to be tightened as it loosens up and then tilts. I have not had problems with it falling over which was a concern of mine. I like the way it looks.

Nice product, a little unsteady (they should have weighted the bottom more, I think.) Careful handling, however, prevents disaster (i.e., it won't fall down if the paper is torn off gently.)

5.0 out of 5 stars Toilet Paper Stand and Reserve, August 15, 2010

I like this product. I was a bit concerned when I read the other reviews that stated it was very tippy. I haven't had any issues with that, but I've kept the reserve stocked. I have it in a guest bathroom that isn't used very often, and it's small, so storage is a concern. This stores the extra toilet paper, so I don't need to take up the limited storeage space for that. It holds the toilet paper, so there is no need to drill into the wall for a holder. The silver color matches everything else in the bathroom. All in all I like it a lot.

3.0 out of 5 stars okay., November 27, 2011

Most of these floor holders are never weighted properly enough which causes the slight inconvenience of having to hold the roll as its removed. As most times I don't hold it down, the roll just spins out a glob of tissue. Then again, I'm left handed so it may just be my different way of handling. One of these days I'll just glue it to the floor to avoid the minor nuisance.

Solved my problem of needing something that didn't take up much space and looked stylish. I found it to be very sturdy once I tightened the poles. The TP role that is being used can come off if not careful.

Arrived as described.
Stable while using; it does not tip over.
At least one roll should be kept in reserve.

My grandkids love it. Our friends love it and have commented they want to get one. Great for people with bad shoulders(they can move it to get the toilet paper easier.) Seasoned people find it easy to use. Great for left and right handers.
Cheers, Sandy

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty, functional, and clean-looking TP stand, December 13, 2010

This is a very pretty, functional, and clean-looking toilet paper stand. I believe you can fit 3 or 4 back-up rolls of toilet paper on the vertical arm, and the one roll of toilet paper currently in-use on the horizontal arm at the top. This toilet paper stand seems relatively stable, especially when you have the vertical arm filled with back-up rolls of toilet paper. I have had a few family members and friends come over and comment on it because they notice it and like it.

My only complaint about this toilet paper stand is that if the toilet paper roll on the horizontal arm gets pushed towards its elbow/curve area, it can potentially "make the turn" and slide down where it eventually connects to the base at the bottom of this stand. It's not a huge complaint, and it shouldn't happen much, if ever, but it is a feature that could be improved if they made an update to this design. Some potential ways that this design flaw could be improved would either be to include some type of stopper (thick rubber stopper) to prevent this from happening or to make the elbow part at the top thicker or bend more sharply to prevent the toilet paper from potentially moving from the horizontal part of the arm and end up falling down the vertical part which connects to the base.

I am very happy with this toilet paper stand despite the one flaw that I mentioned, and I would be very likely to buy another one if I needed or wanted one for my other bathroom. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
