These are wonderful and I've gotten so many compliments! They come with tiny, flat, magnetic thumbtacks that you stick into the wall and then the flowers all have magnets in them and you just stick them on top of the thumbtacks. The magnets are strong so don't worry about them falling off.

So easy to use! My suggestion is to put in a thumbtack as a starting point, put a flower on it and then hold another flower up to see where you want it and then place the thumbtack, etc. Don't place all the thumbtacks first or they might not all fit next to each other.

The wallflowers seem to no longer be made with embedded magnets, so the ones I received do not mount on magnetic surfaces. Instead, they have a snap-fit design that attaches to tacks only, which works fine for putting them up on a wall.

I think that the Umbra Wall Flowers are absolutely wonderful. They make any room seem more cheery and you can put them on any surface that you can put a thumbtack on. They do come with there own wall tacs and the only thing is that they do leave holes in the wall a couple sizes bigger than a thumbtack would leave. That is if you ever decide to take them off your wall. I probably never will because I love them so much.

These are really cute and durable! The magnets are strong and allow me to reposition the different size flowers as I wish. I would buy these again!

Three years ago, I bought the Umbra Wall Flowers and ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM. I used them in my bathroom (cathedral ceiling) and decided I wanted to do a two color combination on the wall along my staircase. However, when I purchased this set, I discovered the flowers were no longer magnetic like the first set I purchased. I really loved the magnetic flowers because they were easy to move especially when I was trying to decide the layout of the different sizes. Also, when I spring clean I am able to remove the flowers, toss them in the sink, rinse them off, and put them back up after they have dried off.
On the other hand, the new version of the Umbra Wall Flowers have adhesive stickers that after only a couple of hours, flowers were popping off of the wall. That's when I realized maybe I bought the wrong kind, but unfortunately there are no magnetic ones anymore. However, I saw several websites mention a magnetic coversion kit was available. Well, let's just say that only one place sold these kits and at first I thought the price was great. It was around $4.00 for a set of 25 magnets that will pop into the new flowers so they are like the old ones. However, the shipping and handling charge for this company was $35.00 if you did not allow them to send you emails. If I let them send me emails, they reduced the shipping and handling charge to around $17.00.
So, my advice is if you are going to purchase this version of the Wall Flowers be sure to get the magnetic conversion kits.

I get the feeling these would look nice about any way you put them up. I was worried that my installation wouldn't look as nice as some. I used them in a guest bathroom and am really happy with the result.

I first saw these in a house that was for sale and loved them. They were the magnet version. These do not have magnets as of the time of my order (June 2010). They come with a nail/ tack hybrid almost. We were able to push them into the wall without using the hammer. You click the flowers right onto the head of the "tack". It was quite simple. I'm not sure why some of the other reviews complained about the fact that you'd have the put holes in your wall. Unless your walls are metal, you were going to have holes in them with the old magnet version. Those used the same nail/ tack hybrid except the head was magnetized and there was a magnet embedded in the flower. These have a space in the back of the flower that easily clicks on and off of the tack head.

Installed in about 10 minutes - really love the look. It's almost zen or Asian feeling in some way, although I'm not sure why I feel that way. I'm becoming quite a fan of these Umbra products- this is the fourth I've purchased and I appreciate the simple shapes and functions.

I love the look of this item and when I finally got it on the wall it looks great!! A wonderful product; however mine did not come with any kind of adhesive, so my boyfriend and I have gone out and bought 3 different types kinds of putty and tapes. Nothing is lasting. I would love it if we could have something sent to us to help us out! :) bit other then this, I love it

Love the whole magnetic thing. I have a blue wall and they look great against the darker color.

I just received these today. The other reviewer was right they no longer contain magnets so the description needs to be changed. I still give them a five star cause I love them. They are unique and something you dont see everywhere. I have one set on my office wall and used another against a black wall and they look terrific. Couldnt be happier.

These have to be the most adorable things on earth! I have them above our bed and I just ordered 2 more packs so I can have them go across the entire wall above the bed. With the mocha walls and the white bedding it looks amazing. I've gotten compliments already :) Oh, super easy to use... just be creattive on the design
