The two remixes on this CD are awesome. The original version of Umbrella is not so hot, but the the remixes make it a totally different song.

Rihanna came with another summer anthem. 'umbrella' a great track over all... there are not many artist that have more than one hit.... rihanna can say that. she has had a hit for the past 3 summers and has no sign in slowin down.

Jay-Z did not take over the track like he alwayz tries to do... then rihanna comes with the hotness.. her voice may not b the strongest voice in music but she does kno how to use it and does songs that suit her...

the chorus is timeless "U can stand under my umbrella ella ella ey ey ey"... its the way she is singing it that makes it stick in your head.

the 'umbrella' video is so breathe takin... the silver body paint sold me....

'pon de replay", "SOS', 'unfaitful', now "umbrella".... keep the hits comin... ill b listenin

I bought this for the dance mix I heard on the radio and I love it. The Cd also provides the original mix and one other. Glad you had it and happy I bought it.

1. Radio edit- great song for summer, very upbeat tune about love/friendship.
2. Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Radio Edit- this is pretty good, electro-ish and dancey.
3. Lindbergh Palace Remix- absolutely great! It has a beautiful intro and turns into an almost classical-infused club remix. Nice synths. Very well done!
4. Video- also well done!

1. Radio Edit (4:14) 5/5 - We all know it, some of us love it, unlike some people i've seen, i think it's great!
2. Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Radio Edit (4:01) 4/5 - My least favorite, but they got it right becuase the club version of the Remix is only six and a half minutes, but i got bored when i heard it, i like the short version like on here, however...
3. The Lindbergh Palace Remix (7:52) 10000/5 - I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the club version of this, the radio edit was tooooo short for this mix. It's so cool tehno-y sounding, it's great! Buy it for this remix at least!
4. Video (4:12) 5/5 - Very cool looking video!

However it is missing,
The Travis Barker Remix, The Cinderella mix w/ Chris Brown, The Lil' Mama Remix, and the other umbrella remix with a weird name!

I LOVE The Lindbergh Palace Remix!

The first time I heard this song I was hooked, so I had to buy the single. The third track (The Lindberg Palace Remix) is my favorite. The song has a great beat and a perfect dance track. The song starts slow, but soon catches the listener and makes your body move on its own.

When I first heard Rihanna's "Umbrella", I absolutely hated this song. It was all because of that chorus line of 'umbrella -ella -ella. ey, ey, ey'. Everytime this came on the radio, I would switch the channel.
Then something happened. I began to listen to the rest of the song and found my self being hooked by it. Eventually I was able to overlook that annoying lyric and appreciate the rest of the song. From its powerful music to attactive lyrics (and not to mention a hot HOT video), "Umbrella" ends up earning its place as one of the top songs on 2007. It also highlights the rapid evolution of Rihanna from the generic kiddie pop star of "Pon De Replay" to a sophisticated temptress with this song.

This song came out a long time ago and I STILL love it! This is by far Rihanna's best song. I still get chills whenever I hear it. Love this song and love all of RiRi's music!!

Yes the beautiful Rhiana. She is a Caribean Princess with very authenic vocal quality and she uses to own her tracks, this is no exception. The hook like the meaning of the song resignate with everyday life that it is difficult not to like the song. The video and her training in ballet is obvious and makes the song almost a phenomenum. The choreographer did an amazing job and Rhiana looks the part. You have got to give her manager and those intrusted with developing her career because she is on track for superstardom....her lasted hit which is not even on her last single Take A Bow is on heavy rotation on video and radio. To top it off she is reportedly romantically involved with Chris Brown. I am sure she is estatic about her life right now and I wish her nothing but the BEST.

This CD must be listened to w/ a BOSE audio product! Great motivator,
especially love the synthesizers!
