Im Very happy with purchase.
Jackiep
The blue LED for cold and the Green LED for warm seemed to work, but the Red LED for hot just would not work no matter how hot the water got.

It stopped working after about a week.

First, what I got does not look like the photo. The pic shows an all silver/chrome adapter with ridges in it. What I got is white at the top and completely smooth. You should know that it's entirely plastic too. It installed without a problem (the only positive thing about it). The LED doesn't change colors with temperature. In fact, it doesn't stay a single color at all. It just randomly blinks different colors, regardless of the water temp. Watch my video to see pics of what this thing looked like when it arrived, and how it just blinks when the water is running.

The good:
1. Three colors accurately tell you 'cold, temp, hot'. I like that.
2. Solid design
3. compact - much smaller than others I've had
4. clean and easy to install
5. no extra adapters needed.

The Not so good:
1. It's noisy. It uses a turbine to make the water generate the electricity for the light. This makes it louder than a regualr faucet.
2. the water output screen is rough, so water tends to 'spit' in random directions if the flow is too high.

Overall, we love it. I've ordered 3 more for each of the bathrooms in the house.

I love LEDs, and every time I turn the sink on it makes me happy, so worth the price, definitely. The only things I don't like about it is it makes a pretty loud whine noise if you put too much water through it, and although it does change colors with temperature it doesn't change very fast so you can still get your hands almost fried when the color is blue ("cold").
But as I said it is fun and people comment on it / I'm not the only one who likes it.

*EDIT: It's been up almost nine months. For the price I would have been happy if it lasted a week or two. It still lights up, and still changes colors with the temperature. It has been in our only bathroom, so it gets used quite a bit. We just moved apartments and at the new place the water doesn't get hot instantly like at the last one so the temperature indicator is a bit better here. The only thing I can think of is that there is a bit of hard water build up, but that hasn't had any effect on the turbine.
Things I like about it: I still smile inside when I use it, it doesn't take a ton of water to light up, also if I have to use the bathroom in the middle night I just turn on the faucet a little instead of using a light (I'm a water waster, but doesn't make my eyes adjust).

*EDIT2: It's been another year! Though my light doesn't quite look like the one listed anymore??? Added the movie of what I have, still happy that It lights up, totally worth it especially with the free shipping :) Anyone who visits loves it. Oh just noticed that mine is probably the "3 x LED Faucet Lights" that you can select (though I believe at the time it was only about $3 or $4).

Bought this purely for the grandkids enjoyment. They love to watch it change colors. The problem is that after a couple if weeks the color is barely visible. I am very disappointed in this product. The good thing is that it was inexpensive!

The light function works great, but the cheap plastic body doesn't thread well into my standard faucets, so it keeps falling out. The novelty never got a chance to wear off because I gave up trying to put it back on every time it fell off.

I bought this as a silly April Fools stunt, put it on a faucet the kids would use. One of them was mildly surprised by the light suddenly appearing, especially since he'd bent down to drink from the faucet, so mission accomplished. It's fun and basically works. But I was imagining the water stream would glow more eerily like the picture shows. In a very dark room the entire stream may appear to glow but in general the stream will appear bright at the faucet, and dimmer or not glowing further down.

The device is almost an inch long. On a tall faucet this is fine. Even on a short faucet it's not all that noticeable, just because people are generally distracted when washing their hands.

The light needs a fairly high stream of water to power it. If you are in the habit of using a gentle stream this will not work.

I didn't notice any particular noise from it that others have noted.

Everything including the threads are plastic. One of our faucets has a slightly unusual aerator, and although the threads look the same something about the shape didn't fit that faucet. But it fit fine on two other faucets I tried it on, so I think that problem won't be common.

The temperature blue/green/red indicators are hard cutoffs, not a gradual shift in color. I found them to be reasonable, but it's not going to tell you the difference between "hot enough to wash hands really well" and "too painfully hot to use".

In short, I view this as a novelty rather than a useful device. For kids it's fun but it might teach them to always use more water than they need to... I think this idea would be of more use on a showerhead, which I use with the water full blast, and I have to wait for the right temperature before getting in. But that would also need few more color levels to distinguish between temperatures better.
