Editorial Reviews

Review

"An exhaustive guide to over 60 years of the vampire on the small screen...[a] bloody big (514 oversized pages!) book of bloodsuckers." - Rue Morgue magazine

"Un-Dead TV fills a previously empty research niche, and provides lots of browsing entertainment. Vampire lovers and scholars should find much to like in these pages." - Robert Morrish

"I wholeheartedly recommend this book if you enjoy reading about vampires on television, or if you are an author writing about those subjects.  Un-Dead TV is an invaluable resource, and one that will find prized real estate on my office shelf." - John Kenneth Muir

"Perusing this book is nothing but pure entertainment, yet both fans and scholars of the sub-genre will come away enlightened...Kudos to Middleton for this huge bite into previously uncharted bloodsucker territory." - Nancy Kilpatrick, Dark Fantasy/Horror author and editor

About the Author

In 1994, Brad Middleton created "Vampyres Only," the first vampire pop culture website on the Internet (vampyres.com). It remains the largest, longest-running and most extensive source of related information available online. Since then, "VO" has been profiled across all media, and Brad's expertise on the subject has led to consultations with such authors as Katherine Ramsland, who tapped him as a source for her ground-breaking book Piercing the Darkness: Undercover with Vampires in America Today (HarperCollins, 1998). In 2009, Brad wrote about television vampires for the third edition of The Vampire Book: The Encyclopedia of the Undead (Visible Ink Press, 2011). He realized that the subject demanded further study; three years of additional research and writing--and watching a whole lot of television--has culminated in Un-Dead TV, the ultimate guide to vampire television.
If you buy a new print edition of this book (or purchased one in the past), you can buy the Kindle edition for only $2.99 (Save 70%). Print edition purchase must be sold by Amazon. Learn more.
