This would be a much better system of collecting federal taxes. It would insure that everyone would pay a fair share based upon their spending. However, because of the out of control welfare system whereby the masses now only receive and pay nothing, these folks will vote against such a change. The entitlement mentality will probably prevail unfortunately.

Abolishing the IRS is simply the best we, as Americans

If you were lucky enough to catch the film version of this book "UnFair Exposing the IRS" (offered one night only in most movie theaters), the movie tells it all, with helpful visuals. This is the book version, by Craig Bergman, of the film. While I have not yet read it in its entirety, it is a thoughtful account of the IRS, its broad abuse of power, and its failings. Abolishing the IRS is simply the best we, as Americans, could do! The IRS's radical, dishonest, and corrupt outreaches, in so many aspects, goes beyond what's right or fair. Like the film, the book expresses true stories of voting Americans who have been targeted by the IRS over time, for no rational reason but to take money from (us) them, and push a radical agenda, like their most recent targeting of conservative groups prior to the elections. True stuff! "A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people" - Presidnet John F. Kennedy. "In a time of universal deceit, telling the Truth becomes a revolutionary act" - George Orwell. "Our federal tax system is, in short, utterly impossible, utterly unjust and completely counterproductive…. it has earned a rebellion - and it's time we rebelled!" - President Ronald Reagan.

Every freedom living American should read this book - the problems at the IRS are much worse than previous believed.
