Words cannot adequately describe the beauty I discovered upon listening to Una Mattina, by Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi. Ancora, the last piece on the album astounds me each time I listen to it. It reaches to the soul. I can't believe such beauty can exist in the world. Ludovico is a genius of high degree. I recommend this to all who appreciate beautiful music, especially the piano. Ludovico Einaudi is, in my opinion, the greatest music artist/composer on earth. You won't be disappointed if you buy his works.

I am extremely picky when it comes to piano music. I am a massage therapist and I will play a cd enough times to be able to tell if it can stand up to the test of overplaying it. Most don't. This one is utterly different. It is still my favorite and I have had it for a few years now. (Granted, I don't play it every day!) It is touching, elegant and relaxing. The quality of emotion on this cd is astounding. I highly recommend it.

This is an exceptional piece of work. It exudes a calm and beautiful strength that is contagious. It gives a real sense of continuity with a time and place while listening. While all the tracks are very good here are a few standouts for me: Dietro Casa simply makes my heart sing. Nuvole Bianche writhes with pure elegance. Resta Con Me is playful and light.

In all this is easily one of the best collections of music I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. Bravo Einaudi!

I discovered this CD when I was searching for more George Winston. The only thing better is Wind Chimes.

I cry everytime I hear Ora. It moves me every time. It is exquisite. Ludovico Einaudi and Helen Jane Long play God's voice.

If you like relaxed and optimistic piano music, go for it. It's very addictive and lasts for ever. It stays in our stereo permanently now for almost half year! :)

I played piano as a child and I always liked the instrument...but after discovering Ludovico Einaudi about two years ago, I listen to pianists all the time now. When I listen to this, my mind takes me to happy places with weeping willows chasing stuffed animals and pigeons on stilts. I fly.

I discovered the talent of Ludovica Einaudi about 2 months ago, and became mesmerized by his piano playing. I'm not much into piano music in general, however, when I heard his piano playing, I became captivated, and decided I must have his music. I've listened to it over and over, and I never get tired of it. There's something almost ethereal behind his piano playing, unlike I've ever heard before in other piano classical music. His music is definitely worth your time to check into, you will not be disappointed.

Some may recognize track number 12 "Nuvole bionche" from a timelapse video that shows the Milky Way galaxy atop a Spanish mountain. This is how I discovered "Una mattina".

The beauty of this album matches the beauty of that video (if you haven't seen it, it's called "The Mountain". Absolutely beautiful video). The recording quality is excellent, and the music is beautiful and compelling. This is the perfect album to listen to in the car during traffic. It certainly helps calm my road rage!

The ONLY complaint I have is that some of the songs are a little repetitive, though not drastically.

I highly recommend "Una mattina" to anyone who appreciates piano music or needs a little relaxation in their lives.

Ludovico Einaudi is one of my favorite New Age composers. His music is incredibly relaxing and perfect for studying. This albums is one my favorite of his. All of the pieces are excellent, but my particular favorite is Nuvole Bianche. Great purchase!
