5.0 out of 5 stars Enjoying Anita Blake
Another Anita that is a pleasure to listen to. I own and have read all of the Anita Blake series and I am in the process of purchasing all of them on CD's. I really like reading all of the Laurell K Hamilton's books but Anita is my favorite character.

1.0 out of 5 stars A little tooooo coarse for me!
I think there should have been notification of the character of the language, etc., in the product description.

I bought this audio CD thinking it was probably similar to the Twilight Series and was really looking forward to a little more of the same. Well, that's what you get for assuming. I listened for about an hour and turned it off.

I loved...

5.0 out of 5 stars Kimberly Alexis adds spice and drama to Laurel K. Hamilton's BLUE MOON, May 12, 2010
This review is from: Blue Moon Unabridged CDs (Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter, No 8) (Audio CD)
Kimberly Alexis adds spice and drama to Laurel K. Hamilton's BLUE MOON. BLUE MOON is a fine Anita Blake vampire novel continuing her gripping search for vampires and her efforts to keep the world safe - even as she loves a vampire of her own.

I think there should have been notification of the character of the language, etc., in the product description.

I bought this audio CD thinking it was probably similar to the Twilight Series and was really looking forward to a little more of the same. Well, that's what you get for assuming. I listened for about an hour and turned it off.

I loved the entire Twilight Series and it included sex and violence, but Stephenie Meyer did it with class and had you spellbound to the end. I, and a few million other people, loved every paragraph.

Laurell K. Hasmilton on the other hand seems to prefer a more coarse street language and less comfortable violence and sexual situations and descriptions. I know this is perfectly acceptable with many people but others can find it offensive.

I would have preferred knowing some of these details before spending money on this type of material.
