Many times movie soundtracks are put out only to have a mix of songs that were not the best selection of songs from the movie. In some cases, the selections are just the music scores and not the songs used. This soundtrack uses many of the songs from the movie - including the one that Charlie did his dance routine to.
The movie was a great family friendly movie for adults and young children alike. You will enjoy this music just like the movie. In fact, my son and I enjoy listening to it and thinking and talking about the scenes in which the music was used. I highly recommend picking up the movie and this soundtrack.
