Ok, for starters, I have never ever in my life have written a review for anything, safe the feedback on completed eBay transactions. But I've decided to post this out of compassion for those fellow U.S. fans of Nek who, like me until a few months ago, had heard of the upcoming release of this new album but been frustrated by inability to get it anywhere here in the U.S. It's SOOOO sad and inexcusable that Amazon has joined the ranks of virtually ALL other online and store retailers in the U.S. (of those very few in the latter category that still hang in there continuing to operate) in serving up this "castrated" version of what is truly a gem album from an Italian pop wizard, topping Italian and European charts since its release in early March. I, like many others I'm sure, had searched high and low, for the FULL ITALIAN version of this album, in vain. (Another thing that really annoys me is the commercial pandering to the Hispanic community in the US by serving them up with the SPANISH version of an album first and at half the price of the ITALIAN one - by every major Italian star like Nek, Eros Ramazzotti or Laura Pausini, but that's another story). [...]r completely free anywhere in the world with a purchase of at least Euro 20.00. Btw, you can select U$ as the charge currency as well to avoid any International Finance Fees charged by U.S.-issued credit cards. The lead time is about a week but it's well worth it as this is probably the only place on Earth to get it from, short of flying to Italy. And for the last three months now I have been one of those very few lucky ones to enjoy ALL THIRTEEN (13) gorgeous tracks of this magnificent artist. Every track is a marvel, but my favorites are: #2 Se Non Ami (If You Don't Love), #3 La Voglia Che Non Vorrei (The Desire You Don't Really Desire or The Desire Against Your Will) which is about the drug abuse by youth, and #13 Walking Away (a duet with Craig David). His voice could bring one off the cliff. GO AND GET IT NOW!!!

I refuse to purchase this album until I can receive the full track listing. I'm not interested in paying such an amazing price for a Mini-album. Can someone please explain to me why we are importing such a watered-down version? I've already purchased the Spanish (which is primo BTW), and for the first time, I want to own both albums instead of only purchasing the Italian via compilations. IMHO, this is the best he has ever produced, and I'm eager to hear ALL of the tracks!

For those looking, if you are in the states there isn't any way to purchase the full version, unless you go black-market. I'm angry.

I especially enjoyed this latest album by Nek, in large measure because it is so well put together. The production value here is a marvel, and the subtle support of the instruments makes one want to listen over and over again.

Speaking of listening........ Note that this EP version of the album is a much-truncated 6-track version of the larger 13-track original. For putatively "economical reasons," they released this shorter version, but you the Amazon customer are going to pay at least 15-20 dollars, so isn't it just plain dumb to have the mangled version only available here in the US? Damn.

I would *LOVE* to find out how to get the full album, legitimately. Alas, Apple doesn't have the whole thing on iTunes.

But it's a sign of the album's musical interest that I'm peeved at Amazon and its partners for only carrying the stupid shorter version. Let's be grown-ups here; go large, or go home. Accept no lesser imitations.
