This DVD is awful. I had been waiting for this DVD for weeks and was really excited too see it. I was really disppointed when I found out that nothing new was on the DVD, just still pictures of Beyonce (all of which I already had). It's really unprofessionally done and just wrongfully stated at times. I will keep it only because I am such a fan of Beyonce's and I just hope that soon somebody will produce a DVD about her that's worth seeing. I cannot believe I spent 10 $ on this DVD. I recommend this only to the biggest fans who feel they have to own everything about Beyonce. But I will probably never watch it again. Not even worth 1 $.

The only good thing about this dvd is the fact that Beyonce is in it. I was highly disappointed. Everything on the dvd was something already seen or read...i could've did what this person attempted to do myself. Looking at still pictures on a dvd wasn't what i had in mind. Beyonce is a great star and this dvd doesn't put a bad light on her...just the dummy that created it. Since I'm a Beyonce fan, i will keep the dvd for my collection. I just thank God I received it as a Christmas gift and didn't have to spend any money on it.

Looking at still pictures of beyonce on this DVD was pretty boring,everything on this DVD was already read by alot of people.
Don't buy this,save your money for a better cause.

and just think if reading isnt your thing play this dvd! lol

This documentary goes into depth on Beyoncé from her beginnings as a child, Destiny's Child, all the way to her album Dangerously in Love. It had many references to shows like it's awareness and benefit show for AIDS performance, Interview brief clips, and Michelle talking in the very end. Overall, it's a brief glimpse into Beyoncé artistic natural born talent, hard work, and how it all started. Destiny's Child fans will get information on how the group began and how it went to 3. The sound of the video is a bit muffled, the viewing is not possible in my older DVD player, and the entire narration is a bit fast. However, on the whole it was very instructive for new fans, critics, and those who want a fast account of how the beautiful Beyoncé went solo. There is a portion where fans are asked if they prefer Beyoncé solo or with Destiny's Child. it has lots of mentioning of sales, record positions, and R&B information. This is a pleasant documentary that was very entertaining to watch. There is a mentioning of Michael Jackson's performance, the 911 Incident, and other notable times. 8 Days of Christmas plus other albums were mentioned. The song "Survivor" was repeatedly mentioned. The achievements of Destiny's Child and Beyoncé were highly focused.

There is plenty of information on the R&B industry, the impact both Destiny's Child and Beyoncé, and fans talking. It was not the best documentary and if you want a much more impacting interview about Destiny's Child I recommend Live in Atlanta - Destiny's Child and for Beyoncé the BET DVD releases are huge to choose from. If I had to name my favorite I'd say the Latin DVD for her Spanish fans because you get to see her up close talking in Spanish and more. She also has other releases with plenty of information. This is a very good documentary although it could have been much better. This is recommended for the must have it all fan.

This is not an official dvd from beyonce. So dont let it stop you from liking beyonce. Hate the dvd not beyonce. This dvd is not so appetising mentally. I have heard all of the things that were on the dvd. I am looking forward to an official beyonce dvd, that will obviously be better than this "unauthorised" trash. Beyonce is still the best singer on earth!!!!! I gave it a three cause beyonce was in it!!!!! :) :p
