Face it, either you like DX or you don't. That's how you will judge this book probably. If you think that DX has gone on too long then don't get the book. I for one still enjoy the light-heartedness that HBK and HHH bring to the business but then they can still perform. Yes there's backstage events which provides for their dominance, oh well. As for this book, I enjoyed it. Extremely easy flow and readable within one day. It covers the history of DX from shortly after the infamous Curtain Call, up to the recent reforming for merchandise sales. The book is presented as if HHH and HBK were talking to you on camera and more or less in character. They cover it all with glimpses into personal life but again, it's pretty much told in-character. It could have been helped if it were a bit more 'authorized' and done out-of-character and include commentary from the other past members (Chyna, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and X-Pac). Even some o-o-c comments about the fall out between certain members.

Anyway, I enjoyed it for a quick read, good presentation from the characters, could have been stronger by telling it from the real personalities and inclusion of other performers. Downside - it's a straight marketing plot for the money.

I purchased this book for my son, he is a huge DX fan. He read the book in 1 day! I happened to be in his room, picked the book up, and ended up reading it also. It is funny, interesting, and easy to read. You have to be a DX/wrestling fan to enjoy it though.

it was a good book, read fast it was a page turner, i fineshed in 3 days, was very good, told the story and what all you should know and had a lot of interesting stuff in it and said every thing to be known, you will learn from this book

I figured after all these years these two dudes could've come up with a slightly better and more informative and just as funny bio of their run as DX. Maybe Vince has the creative reins to hold them in so they can't tell all of their secrets and stories. Yearned for a longer story as the other WWE titles I've read go that route. Too bad, coulda, woulda, shoulda.

I bought this for my fiance and he is going to be thrilled! He loves DX and for any wrestling lovers..this is a great buy!

If you are looking for an actual biography, this is not for you. The story is told by Shawn and HHH in character. Sadly, there is nothing really new told that hasn't already been said in other video releases. Save your money and try Piper or Bret Harts books.

I picked up this book after reading the first chapter on my Amazon Kindle. I'm a life-long wresting fan and this book brought back some great memories. It is told by Shawn Michaels and Triple H in a conversational tone. It seems like they sat down with Aaron Feigenbaum and recorded a long interview. Feigenbaum then transcribed it into this book. The end result is a fun read that almost any wrestling fan will enjoy.

I am a huge DX fan but got into them in 2006. It is quite interesting to see how the group has progressed over the years

While not much real meat and a light glossing over of the D-Generation tag team, it is a fun read that comes from Triple H and HBK. It does get a bit repetitive but a fun read none the less

I purchased this book for my 10 Y.O. son who doesn't have interest in reading but he does have interest in wrestling so whenever I can encourage him to read something I get it and this method has worked for me and him as far as reading the book myself to write a review I can't because although I read very well I have no interest in wrestling.
