5.0 out of 5 stars Can't I give this ten stars instead??, July 8, 2002
This review is from: Unavailable Sides (1950-1951) (Audio CD)
A super-spiffy set of early recordings made by the great Webb Pierce (one of my all-time favorite country singers), back before he signed to Decca Records. Slightly rawer, boisterously fun hillbilly music from his early days on the Louisiana Hayride radio show. Highly, highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential early Webb Pierce, November 15, 2010

This review is from: Unavailable Sides (1950-1951) (Audio CD)
While there are now only limited supplies of this deleted CD, it is a must have for fans of Webb Pierce. While the 2-CD set "The Complete 4 Star And Pacemaker Recordings" covers most of the material here, this set also includes some fine instrumentals featuring Cliff "Tex" Grimsley, Hal Harris, Shot Jackson and Buddy Attaway. A great find!
