2.0 out of 5 stars Maybe a good starting place for a first-time mom? November 10, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I have had one unmedicated hospital birth and am hoping for another next month. I read this book in about 30 minutes and found it not helpful at all - maybe because I have read several books on natural childbirth in an attempt to prepare myself as much as possible, and this book offered nothing new. I wish I hadn't spent $5. However, if this is your first birth and you are just getting started in your research, maybe this book will provide a jumping off point. Natural childbirth in a hospital is tough but very rewarding - good luck!

1.0 out of 5 stars Very short and poorly written March 7, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book was extremely short- it only took about 30 minutes to read. Also, the information was very obvious and nothing new. All of this information has been repeated often in any conversation about birthing naturally in a hospital. I was really hoping for some new, relevant information.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is not a "book" February 12, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is not a "book." This is a long document that took about an hour to read. Maybe less. There is little practical information. She gives a few very, very brief and superficial accounts of her own birth experiences and intersperses those with a tiny bit of practical information in between chapters. She does refer you to a few good resources, which is helpful. But overall, this is not any more useful than what you can find on the Internet for free and in about 5 seconds. I was really disappointed in this. I feel deceived into buying a "book" that is not really a book at all. Don't waste your money.
