The devil isn't going to like this.,

This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
Another extremely thought provoking, yet Biblically based book by Rebecca Brown. This time with the assistance of her husband Daniel Yoder.I have read many such books on this subject. I listen to what each author has to say and weight it against the Holy Scriptures. This is the only way to ascertain any level of truth or credibility in their content. I find it very difficult to argue with Rebecca Brown. Her approach is different to most, but the fundamental truth of what she says shines through. The hostility and discrediting reviews of others here seem to have little if any foundation. None that I can find make any attempt to show where they consider Rebecca Brown to be in error. The basis of all Rebecca Brown's teachings and methods are to glorify & obey God, follow Jesus, be sensitive to the leadings of the Holy Spirit and to stand upon God's Word and instructions when facing the devil. I have faced problems in my own life and having read Rebecca Brown's books and the Scriptural principles involved, the problems no longer exist. At the end of the day, everything in her books must be weighed totally against the written Word of God. If this principle is followed and there is no error, then what is the problem ? Kindest regards. By the way I thoroughly enjoyed this book, together with 'He Came To Set The Captives Free' and 'Prepare For War' by the same author.

The Curse is Broken in "Unbroken Curses",
By (BlessingNY@aol.com) Lee A. Banks (Brooklyn, New York) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
I am so thankful to "our" Loving Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ for it is He who came to set the captives free. I cannot begin to express my gratitude to God first for His direction to Sister Rebecca Brown and Brother Daniel Yoder for the God-inspired writings of this book. And then to thank the writers for their obedience to God's direction. In the least, this book has been a blessing to me from the beginning of my reading. I realize I had a copy of this book in my home for at least 9 months after a friend refered this book to me. I am a reader and I buy a lot of christian reading material of which after reading the section on "ignorance" I will stop for awhile. My mother is 90 years old this year of 2000 use to tell us "that God will hold us responsible for the books we have in our possession" I now say it to my daughter and friends although not realizing the power of those words. When the Holy Spirit illuminated my mind about ignorance...well if you haven't read the book you will need to in order to understand the impace and change this statement has in my life and resulting yours. For all those that have read the book...they too will be careful to read the material in their homes, first the Holy Word of God, the Bible and then whatever the Lord has allowed them to posses. I have chosen to redefine ignorance as the lack of access to knowledge versus the lack of knowledge. "Unbroken Curses" in the very least is "a way out" and in the best of description uplifts the scripture "Jesus came to set the captives free". When people, good people have no explanation for the happenings in their lives...the answer lies in a unbroken curses. The authors understood their weighted responsibility in conveying this message to the people of God and their responsibility in conveying this message in truth and according to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This book is written according to the Bible. It is a detail explanation of Curses (which are real from the beginning of this earth's creation by GOD Himself), it outlines experiences of real people, real events of today and yesterday. The Historical outlines are fascinating. The process of understanding how to determine if any curses exist in your life is simply stated for the prayerful heart. This book must be read under the leading and prayfulness of God's Holy Spirit. If you encounter any attempt to stop you from reading this book...get yourself a prayer warrior, as I did to pray over you and for you, receive the blessing that satan will keep his hands off you and that the Spirit Of God will illuminate your mind. Then pick up this book with your Bible and read in anticipation of recieving another one of God's great blessing upon your life. The cloud will be lifted after your reading, accepting and practical application of this books writings. God's Blessings Upon You....I will see in the earth made new. My prayers are with you! In Jesus Name, I continue to remain in His Service. Your Sister in Christ....Lee

Why Many Bad Things Happen To Good People,
By A Customer
This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
Unbroken curses, written by Dr Rebecca Brown of "He Came To Set The Captives Free" and her husband, Daniel Yoder, talks of the many doorways that Christians leave open, allowing Satan to curse their lives. The doorways are not always noticeable, such as ancestral dorways, thus the importance of walking close to God to hear Him speak to you should such dorways exist in your life. Quoting from many examples, this book shows the mistakes made by many Christians which allow Satan to curse them and how we can break those curses in the mighty Name of Jesus. In the book are signs that Satan is bringing about a "revival" in idol worship and that many of the Eastern religions are uniting against Christianity. The last chapter of the book, "The Court Of Final Appeal", shows how believers are able to come to the Throne Room of God, in the Name of Jesus, to ask Him to judge their lives. This book will lead you to the victorious Christian life that you have been seeking. Lawrence Yu

A "Must Read" for any dedicated Christian!,
This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
I could not put this book down. Christians WAKE UP. The information in this book is real and will change your life if you put it into practice. Draw near unto God and He will draw near unto you. I have actually used the information in this book and saw similar results as Dr Brown. Let "Unbroken Curses" cause you to examine your relationship with God and the lives of your relatives. Listen to the still small voice of God and follow the guidance of His Holy Spirit. If you're wondering why people don't agree with this or other books by Dr Brown read 1 Cor 2:14!

Truth makes you free!,

This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
Romans 8:2 tells us that "THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS MAKES US FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH." Certainly we suffer from effects of our past, our parent's and grandparent's past affiliations with anything occultic in nature, or gross sexual sin. The Word of God plainly tells us that effects of sin and curses are passed down to future generations. My husband and I pastor a church with a large Hispanic influence, and witchcraft is a big part of their culture. Many times, curses have been sent our way, to stop the light of the Gospel because Truth breaks bondage, and sets captives free. This stuff has far reaching effects, keeping children nervous, upset, having nightmares. Witchcraft loves to control, and intimidate, dominate and manipulate. Lots of times, this stuff is upon us in our SUBCONSCIOUS minds, generating fear, gloominess, depression, etc. Spiritual bondage is real, whether it be from the works of the flesh mentioned in Galatians 5:19-21 or from heredity, sexual sin, or occultic activity no matter how far back. There is a way out, and this book describes it in detail. I recommend it for serious Christians.

Pager turner!,

This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
I went to my local Christian bookstore today -- not really knowing why I was there, other than I had a 20% off coupon that I wanted to use -- & I ended up sitting down in one of their comfy chairs & reading this fascinating (& highly-readable) book cover-to-cover. (And I'm not even sure why I picked "Unbroken Curses" up, because I definitely did NOT go in there with the intention of looking for a book on spiritual warfare.)The authors (a married couple) tell stories about how to recognize & break off curses from one's daily life & from local churches & their congregations & about how to purge one's home of cursed & unclean objects, etc. -- all backed by Scripture -- & by far the most fascinating chapter was the last one, where Brown described her husband's history of being brought up in a Cabalistic (i.e. system of Jewish mysticism & magic) boarding school & all the abuses he had to endure & how his first wife (who was abused by the same system) brought him to faith in Jesus Christ ... Wow. Definitely a page-turner if I ever saw one (& I could totally see it as a movie)! And the chapter on cursed & unclean objects was definitely a timely reminder/warning to me of how easy it is to allow compromising (to put it mildly) objects into one's house & life -- which gives Satan legal ground to operate there -- & how vigilant I need to be in order to keep that stuff OUT.

We're Reversing The Curse,
This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
What an on time word of knowledge throughout this book. Thedevices and schemes of the devil are exposed in this book from cursedobjects, things we wear on our bodies and even food that has beenoffered up to false gods.We must become more studious of the Word of God and ask for insight as to the things that God would allow us to have in our homes, and for things that we receive from people or places. My spirit has been made aware and my eyes have been opened by this book in so many areas. END

THE DEVIL IS A LIAR! THIS TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!!!,
This review is from: Unbroken Curses (Paperback)
It's strange how so many negative comments could make a person think that have choose the wrong book to read. Especially if they really need help with this. For you who are looking for DELIVERANCE and the TRUTH according to the Word of God, this book is it. Cancer has attacked many members of one of my sisters in Christ family, including her. Because of her faith, repentance and obedience to God's Word, He has healed her and now she wants the same for her family. I suggested this book to her because it opened my eyes to curses in general. My brother and sisters, that believe in the power and blood of Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit and God the Father, this book blessed me and so many others. CURSES ARE REAL!! The enemy doesn't want you to be delivered, aware of what's going on spiritually, or set free. He is your adversary! He wants you in bondage. But for you who receive it, you shall be free. One of the comments I read below said that she felt forces against her when reading this book. It's funny how when you give your life to Christ everything "seems" to go wrong, but as long as you was serving the devil you were cool. God is Greater! I was very glad to hear that she continued to read and was blessed by this book. If the voices you hear are not the words of God, take them captive. Jesus said that Satan is the father of lies.
