Spacy Psychedelic Sounds, July 5, 2009
My husband saw Birds of Avalon play with Red Fang when they came through town a year or two ago. He was blown away by BoA's performance. We love their first album, Bazaar Bazaar, with it's accessible hooks and Thin Lizzy riffs. This one is a winner too. It has a more spacey, psychedelic sound. While not as immediately catchy as Bazaar Bazaar, we've listened to it about ten times and it definitely grows on you. If you liked BoA's previous album, give this one a chance. You'll probably like it.
