4.0 out of 5 stars The Dandy in the spare room, January 23, 2003

This review is from: Unchained 1 (Audio CD)
This collection of demo tapes recorded in the Spare room of Bolan's London flat is an absolute must have for fans of the Electric Warrior period Bolan. Not only was Bolan prolific in those days , he was great. Some of these tunes are a lot better than those on the Slider or Tanx.
Marc is captured here when Eddie Cochran was still an influence and before he decided that he wanted to be a soul singer, and he sounds fabulous, the sense of enjoyment here is wonderful. He was an artist and in 1972 he was on fire.
