Waiting for VARESE SARABANDE to release this cd seemed like forever. It's many of Al Hibbler's great DECCA sides. (The original) "Unchained Melody", "After The Lights Go Down Low", "Do Nothing Till You Hear From Me", "11th Hour Melody","He" plus others show the scope of this great performer. I know that Al Hibbler's admirers are grateful that he was somehow able to look inward, and bring a very special light out of the darkness for all of us to hear in this great compilation of his hits. IF YOU LOVE HIBBLER, You GOTTA BUY THIS ONE.

Al hibbler, he of the wonderful baritone voice passed away this April 27, 2001. His wonderful voice and exaggerated style has entertained people of the past century and will continue to entertain the youths of tomorrow. When his voice is heard, teens will say "Who is that singing?", and the reply will be,"Why children, thats Al Hibbler"!
