These are the greatest series of books! Read one and prepare to be hooked. Lots of humor, lots of fun. Full of fiber! Don't save it for the can alone. They have never let me down. The little tidbits on the bottom of the pages make excellent reading, too. And remember the motto-Going with the flow!

I've bought all of the Uncle John books, and have enjoyed them throughly. I've also noticed that a lot of the questions on "Who wants to be a millionaire", I have previously read the same information in one of Uncle John's books. Surprised the heck out of my kids when I can answer the questions that has the current contestant stumped.

Having rediscovered "Bathroom Readers" I was not disappointed . Full useless information that is the perfect salve to the rest of the trafffic on the information superhighway.
A perfect gift for someone who loves trivia.

I don't normally write reviews, but for this, I just couldn't stop. If laughter is the best medicine - then maybe I don't need to see the doctor now. I laughed my butt off - Do you think I should apply for a refund? Do you think the product was defective some how? Was that supposed to happen? My frind says I'm full of c**p, but let me tell you NOT any more! He has no sense of humor. It was outstanding.

I would give it at least 6* at least

Uncle John has done it again. The "All Purpose Extra Strength" (APES) reader once again delivers the most obscure trivia, the best quotes, the untold stories, and all the other features that make Uncle John the king of the Bathroom Reader (complete with his own throne). Keep going with the flow....

I hate reading... Specially a couple pages at a time while sitting on the John... however this book is awesome... It is perfect for those long sittings and those short sittings... :)

The Uncle John Bathroom reader books are incredible. I love the little pieces of information on the bottom of every page. I bought my husband & his old roommate a bathroom reader about 5 years ago and have been buying a few every year for all of our bathrooms. My husband can't live without them.

This edition was #13 was published in 2000.However;don't let that deter you from reading it.That is the thing about this series,it doesn't really matter if you read an edition that was just published,or one from several years back;one is just about as good as another.That is why,if you visit your local bookstore,or check here on Amazon,you will find the many editions still available.

Once you've read a couple of these books,you'll get hooked as did I;and keep reading more of them.There are literaly hundreds of different items,facts,short articles,quizzes,history,lists,interesting subjects,topics,or whatever you wish to call them,in each and every edition;so that you'll surely find a wealth of interesting "stuff" in each edition.They sometimes have a theme,but this "Extra Strength",504 page volume, covers just about everything under the sun.

To Uncle John and your staff,all I can say is thanks for all the great researching you have done to bring all this amazing information to us and making your loyal fans among the most well informed and entertained people on the planet--bar none!!

The book is full of "useless" information that is great for conversation starters! Everyone should have one!
