5.0 out of 5 stars "Knee Deep rocks all others funk songs til time indefinite", April 8, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Uncle Jam Wants You (Audio CD)
This song has all the making of legend. No matter what part of the day, this songs cranks butt. Not just Knee Deep, is the ultimate Car CD song to put on while driving either on the freeway or at the beach or just washing your car. You can always put this song on and everyone will join in the fun with you ....trust me on this one. Others have tried to copy it but really have never succeeded with the original.

If I am wrong may I die in peace

Even after more than twenty years, "(Not Just)Knee Deep" still makes one, young or old, want to get on the dance floor. That's enough makes this a disc to "heat up" anyone's household.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bring It on Down, May 14, 1998

This review is from: Uncle Jam Wants You (Audio CD)
The bass comes down. The drums drop from heaven. The choris of the men and women of Funkadelic may just be the Heavenly Host. This is music for crazy dancers, lovers who need to keep moving, and the Dancing Buddha.

You'll hear sounds you're sure you've heard before; this is one of the mosrt-sampled albums ever recorded. There's a reason why - it's simply outstanding.
