This book is packed cover to cover with fun, useless drivel. You learn about everything under the sun and actually appreciate the knowledge you are obtaining. An easy read that will have you taking it everywhere with you, this book is a must-have.

Not as big of a book as the more recent editions. My husband reads these books and he liked it as well as the others although it is shorter.

What can I say about educating yourself in the "NECESSARY ROOM"? I own a number of Uncle John's Bathroom Readers and this installment is NO disappointment. Why should anyone waste time just sitting there waiting for something to happen [or to stop happening] when you can enrich your mind? There is something for anyone and everyone in this book. Innumerable topics are investigated and their secrets revealed. There are short articles, more extensive articles, and delightful teeny bits of information at the bottom of each page. I highly endorse this book! Uncle John and the Bathroom Readers Institute have done it again!
