Great kid's book,
By Tom Steeber (Portland, Oregon, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Uncle Louie's Fantastic Sea Voyage (Paperback)
I grew up with this book and am now hoping to read it to my baby when he's a bit older. The art is magical. That's the best word to describe it really. The story as I recall is about a boy who decides to go with his uncle on a trip to sea. Uncle Louie wants to sail to Africa and they leave at night. A few hours later they hit land and see huts through the darkness where they sleep through the night. They awaken to see a zebra outside but realize the short trip they took didn't take them to Africa, but to the city zoo!
