My overall impression is that the DVD is the only instructional that I have seen that teaches technique in a way that a beginner will find useful. It's the only one that goes to explain about having a good seating position so the drum rolls back into you so it's stable. Also shows different ways to do the same technique and encourages the viewer to try out different ways. As well the way that the rhythms are taught is very good.

I saw this DVD in the local shop in Sydney and bought it out of curiousity. I had resisted buying it on the internet because his website gave me the impression he was arrogant. But upon watching the DVD he presents as quite a friendly and personable guy. Also provides some interesting insights into how rhythms are structured.
