The Butler Creek "10/22 Folding Stock" is a well made and easy to install replacement stock for the fantastic Ruger 10/22 .22 caliber rifle.

The stock adds a "pistol grip" that works well for both right and left handed users and, when folded, the shoulder pad is conveniently out of the way of the ejection port and bolt.

This is a good aftermarket addition for those who want to replace the standard wood stock.

All in all this is a very good stock fot the Ruger 10 22.

The stock fits the receiver well with only a couple minor problems.

A) The trigger assembly does not fit flush when the barrel band is placed on the stock. Not a huge deal and a little sanding will take care of that in under 5 minutes. The safety slightly caught up against the stock before sanding.

B) The inner walls of the stock are just a smidge to wide so it will actually allow the trigger pin to walk out a little. Again not a huge issue and placing small strips of scotch tape on both sides will take care of that.

C) The metal swivel has a small bit of up and down movement on it when the stock is fully extended but that is just being nit picky.

Like I said, minor issues but the price is good and it is fairly well made.

I like the pistol grip and the compartment under the grip is perfect for a pocket knife or even a small survival kit.

I would reccomend this product to a friend.
