I bought this holster for an SR9c, which has a 3.5" barrel. If you stop reading the fit guide at "Size 1: 3-4" medium autos", you would probably buy this. However, there is also "Size 16: 3.25-3.75" medium and large autos". I am guessing I should have picked up a 16, because I cannot get the pistol far enough into the holster sufficiently cover the trigger guard. Uncle Mike's NEEDS TO PUT MORE DETAILS IN THEIR SIZING CHART! Also, there are pictures for both the vertical and the horizontal holster on Amazon. I received the horizontal, if that is important to you.

Bought this particular holster about 3 years ago. Gave it to a relative as it was
just a little challenging to conceal my 4" S&W Sigma Pistol. I bought the same
holster in the vertical version and am quite happy with it. These holsters are
well made and will offer some time of service. They are very comfortable and the only thing I don't like is the belt loop tends to lose tension and has to be
retightened from time to time. This holster has allowed me to develope a pretty fast concealed draw. I think a 3" to 3.5" barrel is best for this horizontal style holster.

I've worn this with my Walther PPK from time to time. It's not as uncomfortable as some people make shoulder holsters out to be. The one thing I do not like is that there is no second, lower connection across the back between the two should loops. There is only the one strap linking them at the top. So, this moves around a little, and you'll feel the urge to make adjustments all day long. If there was a second strap linking the shoulder loops on the mid/lower region of your back, along with that top strap, this would be much more comfortable.

I really wanted to like this holster. It's a great price and I recommend it if you must have a shoulder holster but don't want to "experiment" with a $100-200 leather one that you may not like. I have small complaints about how it fits and prints thru your clothing but my BIGGEST grip is the thumb break. You essentially have to get TWO GRIPS to remove the gun. The FIRST is a very contorted bending of your wrist while you get your thumb into position to break the snap. The SECOND is when you then RE-GRIP the gun for draw and presentation. Thumb breaks on waist and ankle holster don't have this problem because your wrist is naturally much straighter.

What I think would be best for a locking mechanism of a horizontal draw shoulder holster is one actuated by your trigger finger. This would need just ONE grip. (This mechanism is very common with many of the Kydex Level 2 retention waist holsters.)

For the price you get a shoulder holster that is comfortable, but hard to adjust by yourself. Quality of straps is less than favorable. However, for the price, it will do .

I have owned this system for about 4 hours... The thumb break is already broken. I completed about 20 practice draws... Snapped it back when I was done and wore it a little longer. When I went to take it off, the gun fell out because the thumb break appears broke straight across the rubber... Poor quality...

This holster is a little on the cheap side, but then so is the price. It depends on what you are looking for. If you need a budget holster for occasional use and don't mind dealing with some imperfections, this one might work for you. That is, if it fits your gun. It looks to be styled for a Glock, so if that's what you have, you're in luck. Mine isn't, so the fit wasn't too good. Also, one of the belt loop snaps on mine would not snap ... at all. Believe me, I tried. You would think their quality control station (assuming they have one) would test all the functions before sending it out. But it looks like their philosophy is: "Send it to the customer. If it doesn't come back, it must have been good." Mine is going back.

One of the snaps on the retraining strap came loose the first time I tried to unsnap it. I contacted Uncle Mike's directly about the problem and received a replacement holster. They have the same style snap but these were installed properly and look like they will hold. I suggested they use a better design for the strap but received no comment on my suggestion.

The holster is comfortable and fairly easy to adjust.
