The best belt in this category that I have found.,
By Richard H "techno geek" (Orange, CA) - See all my reviews

This beats any leather belt that I have used for concealed carry. The stiffness holds my holster close to my body. The closure allows for adjustment in increments less than a notch as found on other belts.
I do wish they offered more sizes in the belts to eliminate a gap in the dimensions. The size jumps from "38-42" to "44-48". What do you do if you are a 43"? I would suggest the manufacturer make their sizes more like "40-44" and "44-48".

Everyone has been extolling the use of a gun-belt to me for years. I never understood the need...until I purchased this belt. Until I got this belt, I was alternating between your typical nylon belt and a braided paracord belt quite happily. I figured I might as well order this to see what all the fuss was about.
While not advertised as a gun-belt, it came highly recommended by many people as a great alternative to one. I can find no fault in the belt's craftsmanship or design, and I am very glad I purchased it. As for whether or not a gun-belt is desirable for IWB carry of a pistol, I can definitely say YES...but not for the reason everyone tells you. I've never felt that my holster was unsupported by my flimsy belts, considering the belt is pulled tight around the gun. If you are using a belt to hold your pants up, your gun will be supported automatically in an IWB configuration. This belt shines when you're NOT wearing it. The belt is so stiff that when you take your pants down (you know, like you do for your daily BM) it does an incredible job at preventing everything on your belt from flopping around. Pulling your pants back up is very convenient, as you can just grab the belt (instead of your gun) and everything comes with it. I typically carry quite a load-out on my belt: Leatherman Surge + full bit set, Lockpick set, Fenix PD31 torch, Glock 27 + spare mag, Benchmade RSK knife, iPhone. Controlling all of this while pulling my pants up is a pain in the ass unless you have one hell of a stiff belt; and this fills the bill quite nicely! I highly recommend this belt

This belt is a great belt for the money. I have worn in quite a bit with my G19 (in a raven concealment holster) and two mag carriers on my weak side. Supports the weapon without issue. The only negative is that its a bit tough to get the holster on and off the belt due to its stiffness. I am new to the kydex reinforced belts, so I assume its normal. Overall, I would buy this product again.

This is an excellent quality belt with a great buckle. Kinda stiff when you first get it but softens up after a couple of wearings.

this belt is significantly smaller than it's labeled. it says 50 to 54 and it's more like 48 to 50'ish. I'm a 52 and it wasn't wearable!

Great All Around Belt, Especially for upscale Security.,

Let me start of by telling you why I chose this belt. I am a Security Officer, but for the type of work I do I have to wear a suit, rather then a duty uniform. So a 2.5" duty belt is out of the question. I tried using just a regular dress belt, but with a weapon, radio, handcuffs, and a few other things attached the dress belt wasn't really doing anything for me. I came across this belt at a good price and took a shot in the dark, and my god was I happy, It holds everything perfectly & without sagging or compromise, and it can be worn with a suit no questions asked. It has a very sturdy buckle and it velcros back onto itself to keep the belt from slipping at all. Overall very happy with this item.

I needed a really sturdy belt to support my firearm (full size semi-auto), my dbl. magazine pouch, a large 8" fixed blade, pocket chain saw, cell phone and hi-power LED light. I looked at dozens and even price compared, there is no comparison. There is no sagging, its rigid with no creaseing, it's 1.75" so it fits holsters and appliances with less than a 2" fitting and most casual sport pant loops (probably not slacks). It has a heavy metal belt buckle with strong velco fasters for the 'overlap' part of the belt and man is this thing sturdy. I've had pistol / utility belts in the past.... this is by far the best.
Heck... you could even wear this out on a casual outing (sans the weapons of course...)

This is a great Gun Belt, it is strong and durable enough to support even a heavier side-arm without complaint and it doesn't distort out of shape like some other belts,i highly recommend it.

This product is well described in other reviews. The most confusing part of the order was choosing a size.
I normally wear waist sized 35 or 36 pants. I ordered the large size which is for 38" to 42". I'm glad I did as it fits perfect. The belt fits fine alone or when I have an IWB CCW. I'm happy with my purchase.

Good belt terrible sizing,

Before I figured out how important a good belt was I spend a lot of money on holsters without ever being satisfied. A proper load bearing belt is, in my opinion, more important than the holster. This is a good belt with the qualities required for holding a heavy holster in place. The width makes it tight but manageable for my 1.5" belt slots but it does take some work. The snug fit does help keep things in place. The polymer reinforcements sewn in between the nylon give it a lot of body and firmness; just what a belt of this type needs. Fits all by pants too: jeans, BDU's etc.
The bad: The sizing is terrible on this. It really needs to come in a medium/large size or at least be accurate to product sizing descriptions. I have a true 35 inch waist and after reading other reviews on sizing problems I ordered the large size. The velcro end is so long that it interferes with my holster and I didn't want to have to start cutting and sewing. I ordered the medium, the size the fit chart says should fit my waist. With the medium the velcro is two inches away from fastening and the belt is completely unusable. The packaging makes trying them on before you buy unlikely too or I would say to find a local vendor and see what actually fits. What to do: 1. Buy a different "riggers" belt. There are lots of them out there. 2. Understand that the sizes run small and order large (hoping you are not a between size where neither size fits right). 3. Buy it and modify it (cutting, sewing, etc). |
