4.0 out of 5 stars So much fun! February 14, 2009
Durability: 3.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Got this with low expectations of quality. It works great! My cat just went out for 45 minutes and we got 40 pictures. I just found out he goes on the roof! I saw pictures of him crossing the street, standing on fences, and on the roof. Hilarious!!! I got good pictures about 1 of out 3 or 4. Some are blurry or have whiskers in the way! I intend to be really careful though and make sure that I take the camera off my cat fairly soon after the memory is full (40 pictures). I don't want him losing this device or dunking it in water. I pulled up the water dish so that he could dunk it.

1.0 out of 5 stars The camera does not use flash memory. September 5, 2009
Durability: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 1.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I was very disappointed when I read the instructions and discovered that the pictures get erased when the battery is depleted. My cat goes out for 12-24 hours at a time, and the battery is only good for about 15 hours, and so far the battery has been depleted every time I've let my cat out with the camera on. It would seem to me to be a no-brainer to use non-volatile flash memory in any kind of camera. I would love to see what my cat is up to during the day, but this camera will certainly not help me find out.

Very disappointing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots of fun! August 4, 2009
Durability: 4.0 out of 5 stars    Educational: 5.0 out of 5 stars    Fun: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to purchase this. I am so GLAD I did! Yes, some of the pics are blurry, but obviously, the cat was moving at the same time the camera took a pic. I don't know how you can avoid that. The pics are crisp and clear.
I do think, for the cost, there could be some adjustments. For example, it appears from what I have researched, you can't replace the battery in it, so it's like a disposable camera? Correct me please, if I am wrong. Also, from what other reviewers have said, they need to make it waterproof. It's pretty obvious, that when the cat or dog, gets a drink, it's going to get wet. Also, as far as setting the intervels, of when it's takes the pic, every 5, 10 or 15 minutes, that's hard to set. Maybe after I work with it some more. Oh yes, the first drawback I noticed with it is that, the clasp on it, is not secure on the cats collar. I have had to secure it with a twist tie. The cat would have lost it the first time she used it, if I had not had it secured. All in all, it's a fun toy. And I think everyone would enjoy using it.

2.0 out of 5 stars fun but does not last
Fun to use but stops taking charges after a few uses. Battery is not replaceable. Now I have a very expensive "junk" draw item.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sometimes it didn't work
Very low res image but you can still see something. The cat hated wearing it and if there was movement the image was blurry

2.0 out of 5 stars fun, briefly
Used for a few days, pictures were ok all things considered. While charging it, though, it fell about 18 inches from the top of my computer to the floor. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice little camera
My only problem with this is that I have a short dog and the camera doesn't sit up far enough to get more pictures than just floor.

1.0 out of 5 stars Came broken, never turned on.
It came and never worked. Not sure if this speaks to the packaging, or the quality of toy or the terrible life of the battery. Read more
