Got this with low expectations of quality. It works great! My cat just went out for 45 minutes and we got 40 pictures. I just found out he goes on the roof! I saw pictures of him crossing the street, standing on fences, and on the roof. Hilarious!!! I got good pictures about 1 of out 3 or 4. Some are blurry or have whiskers in the way! I intend to be really careful though and make sure that I take the camera off my cat fairly soon after the memory is full (40 pictures). I don't want him losing this device or dunking it in water. I pulled up the water dish so that he could dunk it.

Despite all the negative reviews, I decided to purchase this. I am so GLAD I did! Yes, some of the pics are blurry, but obviously, the cat was moving at the same time the camera took a pic. I don't know how you can avoid that. The pics are crisp and clear.
I do think, for the cost, there could be some adjustments. For example, it appears from what I have researched, you can't replace the battery in it, so it's like a disposable camera? Correct me please, if I am wrong. Also, from what other reviewers have said, they need to make it waterproof. It's pretty obvious, that when the cat or dog, gets a drink, it's going to get wet. Also, as far as setting the intervels, of when it's takes the pic, every 5, 10 or 15 minutes, that's hard to set. Maybe after I work with it some more. Oh yes, the first drawback I noticed with it is that, the clasp on it, is not secure on the cats collar. I have had to secure it with a twist tie. The cat would have lost it the first time she used it, if I had not had it secured. All in all, it's a fun toy. And I think everyone would enjoy using it.

I purchased this for my 10-year-old daughter, who promptly put it on two of our dogs and our cat. The photos were fun - if out of focus and hard to interpret - until our cat took a drink of water and submerged the camera for a few seconds before we realized what was going on. The camera promptly malfuncitoned, and moisture appeared in the lens. $40 down the drain, in about an hour.
