This is basically a very simple polygraph, relying on the fact that people tend to sweat more when they lie. Skin is more conductive when wet, and this toy uses conductivity to decide whether you're a Jedi or Sith. If you press the on switch with a dry finger, the saber glows blue, while if you have a sweaty finger (or happen to dip your finger in a little bit of water), the saber glows red. So... all Sith are sweaty liars while the Jedi are dry-skinned truth-tellers. Cool!
Overall, we had a good amount of fun learning how this $12 toy worked, so it was worth it.
So if you lick your finger and press lightly, one color. Press harder - it changes.
Bottom Line: It's a neat little toy for toddlers, but don't expect too much excitement out of it.

These are in no way star wars like, yet another misleading description. it falsely says sounds ands looks like real star wars. No, no , no. Ridiculous. Read morePublished 2 months ago by Mrs. Stacey T
Very small and the batteries were empty already when I received it. Guess they burned out (there was nothing there to stop that from happening). Would not recommend for this price.Published 3 months ago by Heere
This was a gift for my son. We were never able to get the light saber to work. My husband is an engineer and very good at problem-solving these sorts of things - but no luck.Published 3 months ago by Catherine C.
