I returned mine immediately.

Its basically like a teeny pen light the moves across the room at the ceiling- I thought it would be more of a night sky.
Carrie
Don't waste your money, you can hardly see the stars.

This item is a tiny and dim single light that moves to project on the wall. You would be better off with a flashlight. Plus the thing is incredibly loud! I returned mine immediately. Save your money.

This product did not work properly. After installing the batteries, a light came out from the top but did not "move" across the room as indicated. I have tried to contact the manufacturer, but without luck.

After reading poor reviews for this product I purchased it anyways. For the cost, this product does what it says it does. Yes, the motor is loud but that's the only complaint I have. I have a fiber optic star ceiling in my living room and when I put this on my fireplace mantle, it looked great. I also have a glow in the dark star ceiling in my bedroom and put this on there and I think it looks very realistic. If you are expecting a planetarium-perfect shooting star simulator, you're going to be a little disappointed but all in all, for the cost, this is a fun and educational toy. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the motor is extremely noisy.

As exciting as the description made the shooting stars sound, it just didn't do the trick. It would have been better to describe it as, "Watch as one tiny beam of light goes back and forth on your ceiling." We ended up returning it. There were no issues with delivery, return, or refund.

This is not at all like the picture. The picture gives it a tail, like a comet. This is just trying to depict motion, I'm guessing. It looks like a white laser pointer, that's it. Besides, it's quite loud. The motor makes a continuous humming that seems unnecessary. If you get it, turn the radio on or put it by a fan.

Don't bother buying this Shooting Stars in your room. There is one light that randomly moves around the room. This toy runs on batterys and makes a loud grinding sound when it moves the light around the room. There are no "stars". I comes with a ton of plastic glow in the dark dots that you can put in your room.

This toy is a piece of loud junk. Its basically like a teeny pen light the moves across the room at the ceiling- I thought it would be more of a night sky. The light isn't even that strong so I put it on a fairly high dresser and the light is still not strong enough to even reach the ceiling and a light only comes out of it about 50% of the time. I thought my child would love it. I am disappointed they even sell such a piece of junk. Its totally misleading and deceiving. The "glow in the dark stars" are tiny circle stickers that are in a 2 inch square sheet and are smaller than a pencil eraser. So disappointed - this was supposed to be a special gift

I bought two of these. The first was new and purchased direct from Uncle Milton Toys catalog. The second was used and purchased from Amazon Warehouse deals. Both of these did not work on arrival. One had a non-functioning light bulb and the other had broken moving parts and did not move at all. These are C**p. Do Not buy this! I guess you get what you pay for with these cheap toys with moving parts.
