I think I tossed this comic in the recycling bin after reading it. The only story I vaguely remember from the description is "Xtreme Scrooge" (if this is where he is scammed by a generation-X snowboarder), which took Scrooge out of character and threw in a villain that I had never heard of before or since (but was presented as a heavy-weight -- i.e. "the only person who can trick me" or whatever he said).

It may appeal to younger readers with little familiarity with the genre, but as a long-time Duck reader, I hated it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Very Good Comic Book, January 14, 2007

This comic book contains a very interesting selection of stories. The first one is a must own and must read tale written by Carl Barks and drawn by Tony Strobl. It is one of the very few Disney comics that deals with a taboo topic, death. The name of the Story: King Scrooge the First. In it, Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck and the nephews are abducted by Khan Khan of the Mongolduks to find a treasure in old Sagbad.

The comic book also contains newer stories. In one, Uncle Scrooge uses the Internet for getting his financial information. An innovative idea but the story largely remains superficial. (The story in a two part tale, both of which are printed here, called X-treme Scrooge).

Gyro Gearloose (Lost and Found) and Uncle Scrooge (Feed for Greed) are nice stories that have some laughs. Finally there is also a Beagle Boys tale (You're a Bonehead Now) which is a bit primitive but still enjoyable.
