My love for Ducktales is remembered thanks to this comic...,

This review is from: Uncle Scrooge #350 (Walt Disney's Uncle Scrooge) (No. 350) (Paperback)
The reason I got this was due to my love over Ducktales, the animated Television series of various Carl Barks stories, while Mr. Barks art isn't shown within these stories, there is a small feeling that he's around here as you read on.
The books contains two tales of Uncle Scrooge, along with his Nephew Donald Duck and his Grandnephews Huey, Dewy and Louie, as they visit Scrooge's former flame Glitering Goldie in the Klondike, while on a hunt over lost treasure that Scrooge lost years ago when he first journed there. The ending of the story is that small warmed feeling over Carl Barks previous story is being honored. The second Scrooge and Goldie tale, is once again a dream come true for Scrooge, but it soon turned into a nightmare. This story also includes short tales staring the Begale Boys and Magica De Spell, both Barks creations and characters on the DuckTales series. Overall if you're a fan of the DuckTales show or of Uncle Scrooge and you wish to see how this comic differs from it animated counterpart, then this is the book for you. |
