Laura Shapiro Kramer lives in New York City. She is Chairperson of the Board of Resources for Children with Special Needs and serves on the Board of Directors of New York City Outward Bound and The Creative Center for Women with Cancer.

What a fantastic book I could not put it down. I am really grateful to have read this book in a time when I needed strength the most when I found out my own child has CP, Thank you Laura.

My husband and I both read this book and it has been such an incredible help to us. We could relate to so much of what the author writes about. She really knows how to connect with her readers. On a scale of 1 to 10, we give this book an 11.
