Maybe I have missed the information, but except for the rare mention of audio format in user reviews, I am unable to locate the types of audio included on Blu-ray disks. The sound is a big part of many movies, and it's valuable to know if the full, original, uncompressed 7.1 content is on the disk, and in what format.

Does anyone here think Amazon and other sellers should list this content description for every Blu-ray disk?

Is there some way to get a list of Blu-ray disks with the full, original, uncompressed 7.1 content is on the disk?

Should Amazon list lossless vs. lossy, and related audio content description for every Blu-ray disk?

To insert a product link use the format: [[ASIN:ASIN product-title]] (What's this?)
