5.0 out of 5 stars Brutal Debut Album California's HOSTILITY, September 11, 2006
This review is from: Uncompromised (Audio CD)
"Before anyone assumes anything, this is a totally different HOSTILITY and not the one on Century Media back in 1995 with "Brick". This HOSTILITY is a more unleashed beast with ravenous death/thrash fused with old school Pantera and Sepultura with some hardcore/crossover stuff like some of the bands off Victory Records, just some in-your-face, violent stuff for the whole duration of the 12 tracks. "Metal Hammer" and "Pit" already have high praise for this band as well as their music. The actual release date isn't until September but with any luck, there's probably some music clips off their website to give you an idea of what all the buzz is about. It's definitely worth your time and effort on this band so don't delay! "Uncompromised" should be a big surprise for many as one of the albums of the year and newcoming bands that make an impact." 4.0 out of 5 stars Hostility - 'Uncompromised' (Voltaic Records), September 14, 2006
This review is from: Uncompromised (Audio CD)
This 'Uncompromised' CD is the first I've ever heard of this Navato thrash four piece. Looks to be their first full length CD. So,I'm not sure if they have any EP's or limited edition singles floating around out there,as many bands do. Tracks here that are capable of nearly rattling the walls are "None For All",the head - riveting "Liquid Chaos","Post-Traumatic Confession" and "Draining The Blister". Line-up:Greg Haran-vocals,Tony Vorrises-guitar,Brandon Sigmond-bass and Andrew Holzbaur-drums. Should appeal to fans of Machine Head,Danzig,Sepultura and Crowbar. Turn this baby up to ten,it'll get your neighbors a-running.
